When founders Morgan of BURU and Shannon of BISBY bonded over their Kentucky roots, a collaboration between the two wasn’t a question.

Morgan has dressed her three children in Little English, Bisby's sister company, from the very beginning. With an abundance of support for the brand and their classic looks, it was only natural that her oldest daughter, Olive Bee began to take interest in their prints and silhouettes as well.

With the founding of BISBY from Little English, the cheerful, fashion-forward pieces felt like the perfect fit for a mommy and daughter design duo.

Thanks to Instagram, BISBY felt Morgan’s continuous support for the styles through her tagging of the brand which led them to send over a message inquiring if Olive would want to model for their collaboration with Sarah Bray.

From there, the wheels began to turn and in August BISBY reached out to ask about designing a women’s capsule collection using one of their amazing prints.

It took all of 5 seconds for Morgan to say yes! Months in the making, we are thrilled to share that the BURU x BISBY mommy & me capsule collection launches on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 8:30 AM EST.

The Collection

Inspired by one of BISBY's custom prints and the breeziest cottons from India, we created a whimsy collection, comfortable enough for everyday mom life, but festive enough for all of your summer celebrations! 

From Memorial Day to July 4th to Labor Day, these timeless silhouettes can be styled over and over again. Better yet, we created them in a way that allows you to go full on matchy-matchy with your mini, or to more subtly coordinate with her (especially if you're entering the tween years!)
