"In my third collection with BURU, I wanted to bring back some of the beautiful pieces from this line that have transformed my wardrobe over the years. A feminine car coat that completely elevates the look of any dress when tossed over the shoulders, a cotton skirt set that brings stylish comfort to the carpool line, shift dresses that can easily be dressed up or down with the switch of a shoe, chic jackets to bring cohesion and sophistication to any look, and so much more. To me, mixing my classic style with BURU’s posh silhouettes and punchy patterns feels like a match made in Heaven!
As we welcome BURU to Charleston, it only felt right to create these pieces in rich tones that are a nod to our historical architecture and vibrant colors of the city. And while it stays as hot as blue blazes here in the South for a while longer, these pre-fall pieces bring the beauty of the autumnal palette, but in breezy silhouettes that keep us feeling fresh as a daisies." xx Megan
