Morgan's Weekly Must Haves

Morgan's Weekly Must Haves

Transitioning between seasons is no easy feat for a mama. Freezing in the morning and sweating in the afternoon is the last you need to worry with while trying to juggle it all—career, carpool, and the occasional shower...(please tell me I am not the only one struggling to fit this in on a daily basis!)

My weekly must-have list is full of items to help you survive the changing of the weather guard.

For starters it's important to stock up on pieces that are great for layering—in breathable and washable fabrics. Breathable to avoid the afternoon sweats and washable so you are not constantly trekking to the dry cleaners to retrieve your key wardrobe staples. During this season of temp drops, I can't get enough of Demylee. Specifically, I have these styles on a repeat rotation.

And I don't leave home without an oversized scarf!

Some of my favorite other products that keep me put together during unpredictable temp swings include:

Keep your hots hot and your colds cold with S'well's 17 ounce water bottle (or champagne bottle...totally your call mama!). PS - these bottles really are great...but can be tough to clean without the proper tool.  Might want to pick a S'well cleaning brush too.

Even with the most transitional ensemble, crazy afternoon sun can ruin your perfectly put together face (or a face layered with yesterday's make-up topped with today's powder—we're not judging!). These reusable blotters will keep you sheen free.
Again—don't for get to clean them! There is no need for unnecessary adult acne. Am I right? For a quick cleanse, I love Sephora's Dry Clean Spray and for a more through cleanse I always reach for my Shu Uemura Brush Cleaner.

If you're like me, then you are still dealing with left over winter dryness while trying to create a spring dew complexion. This Tata Harper cream bronzer is the perfect fix. My hair also needed a kick in the roots to show signs of a springy life. This amazing Oribe Shampoo is a Neiman Marcus Beauty Award nominee—a bit pricey, but it's so good you can use it sparingly to make it last!

Finally, let's not forget that our kiddos are transitioning too! I am all about the light weight cardigan—of course you can't go wrong with white or cream, but it's fun to add some color too!

I keep a little kit in my car during the months of March through May of other items that will make Olive more comfortable should the weather change during our outings.  Anything I can do to keep her comfortable makes my day 100 million times better. It's amazing the power that a little 35lb thing can have over my own personal happiness.
